June 2025 cannot be outdone! Final music event of the school year.

So honored to have been a part of Eric’s education through music. Yesterday was one of the highlights of my career to-date as I witnessed him complete his crowning senior recital… My second senior that has undertaken the endeavor. Can’t believe that he has been with me for more than a decade, and that all my oldest students have now flown the nest. Also, I take it as a benchmark of success that my alumni and their parents still come hang out and keep in touch and are so supportive of each other. The next generation of young minds are simmering, and I can’t wait to see where everyone’s paths take them.

At the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, faced with the fact that I had four graduating seniors this year, I knew I had to put them together to do quartets and send them off to as many events as we could muster. This one was a brand new one for the my studio, even though I’ve known about the event for ages. We didn’t win anything, but that isn’t the point; we had a ton of fun! I’m very proud of them for tacking a totally extra event onto everything else they had to balance in life. After their performance and listening to a couple other groups, we walked up to Koma café north of the campus to relax together and enjoy some food and drink.
